Furniture, carpet as well as your beds is spoiled at times by the dog. There is no doubt about the perennial pleasure afforded by the dog to its owner.
Dogs are slow learners but can be trained effectively. They also learn at a particular or fixed place. You have to be calm and collected as your patience is tested out the beginning. You should be ready to devote the time required for it.

Maintain a certain schedule for potty training your dog and take it out for walks outside as frequently as possible. Allow him to answer nature calls. Go for a walk with the dog during early morning, after food and before going to bed.

Watch it intently while potty training and observe the signals when it wants to pee or poop. Take it out immediately when it sniffs and scratches the door and becomes restless. Complement it for its good behaviour.

Don’t spank but scold him for his wrong doing as he is still training. Physical punishment will not be positive but end in making the pet hide its mess in future.

The mantra for potty training is to praise it and scold it as the occasion warrants. Once the pet is trained he will always remember. You will be free from cleaning all the pee and poop and feel happy.
